On the afternoon of April 23, Ngoc Chien Commune Police, Son La province said that the unit had identified the identity of the male body that was decomposing strongly discovered by people in the Chien stream area, belonging to Long Cang village.
Accordingly, the victim is Mr. Lo Van Cai (born 1962), residing in Luot village, Ngoc Chien commune, who was identified as the person who went missing from September 29, 2025 after being affected by the circulation of storm No. 5.
Immediately after receiving the report, Ngoc Chien Commune Police coordinated with forces to the scene to inspect and verify.
After completing the necessary procedures, local authorities and functional forces supported vehicles to bring Mr. Lo Van Cai's body back to hand over to his family for burial according to local customs.
