From February 3-4, ships of the Command (BTL) of Coast Guard Region 4, which are performing the tasks of patrolling, controlling, protecting sovereignty and combating IUU fishing in the Southwest sea, successfully held the Party Congress for the 2025-2027 term.
The Party Cells of CSB ships 4035, 4039, 6009 under the Party Committee of Squadron 42, Coast Guard Region 4 successfully held the Party Cell Congress for the 2025-2027 term.
The Congress of Party Cells took place under special circumstances, when the ships were performing combat readiness missions, patrolling and controlling law enforcement, protecting sovereignty, preventing and combating IUU fishing in the sea area bordering Vietnam - Malaysia - Thailand. In conditions far from the direct leadership of the superior Party Committee, high intensity of task implementation, big waves, strong northeast monsoon, narrow ship space... however, the Party Cells proactively prepared, made efforts, overcame difficulties and organized the Congress in accordance with procedures and principles, completing the proposed content and program.
Reviewing the leadership work of the past term, the Party Cells have promoted the combined strength, solidarity, and high unity, leading and directing the unit to complete the goals, targets, and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Party Cell Congress for the 2022-2025 term.
Notably, the CSB 4035 ship has conducted 37 missions at sea with a total distance of more than 34,000 safe nautical miles; coordinated with higher-level professional agencies to inspect and penalize more than 150 violating ships; collected and paid to the state budget more than 3.8 billion VND. Recorded the temporary seizure of exhibits and vehicles of 11 ships transporting more than 1.75 million liters of DO oil without documents proving legal origin.
Ship CSB 4039 has conducted 7 patrol missions to control and combat IUU fishing in the sea area bordering Vietnam - Malaysia - Thailand with a total distance of more than 10,600 safe nautical miles. Coordinated with the professional agency of the Regional Command to inspect and sanction dozens of ships for administrative violations, collecting more than 800 million VND for the State budget.
Ship CSB 6009 has conducted 9 patrols to control and maintain law enforcement at sea, prevent IUU fishing; inspected and handled 13 cases/13 violating vessels, coordinated with professional agencies to handle administrative violations, and paid nearly 180 million VND to the state budget.
The leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees and branches have been gradually improved. The unit's situation is stable, and the contingent of cadres and soldiers has a steadfast and firm ideological stance.
With the spirit of solidarity, democracy, discipline and development, the Congress of Party cells enthusiastically discussed and contributed many profound opinions, focusing on evaluating the achieved results; at the same time, raising the awareness of self-criticism and criticism, frankly pointing out the limitations, shortcomings, causes and experiences in the leadership of the past term, determining specific policies and measures for the leadership of the next term.
In the 2025 - 2027 term, the Party Cells of the ships will continue to focus on leading the building of strong units in terms of politics, ideology, organization, ethics and staff. Training to master weapons and technical equipment; leading the unit to successfully complete the tasks of combat readiness, patrolling and controlling, enforcing the law, protecting sovereignty, and combating IUU fishing. Building a strong and clean Party Cell, a strong and comprehensive ship that is "exemplary and typical".
The Party cell congresses promoted democracy and concentrated their intelligence to elect the Party cell Executive Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary for the new term with 100% of votes of confidence and unanimously passed the Congress Resolution for the 2025-2027 term.
The successful and tight organization of the Party Cells Congress in the harsh weather, difficulties showing the seriousness of the ship cells in thoroughly grasping, implementing the guidance and plan of organizing the Party Congress at all levels of the Coast Guard Party Committee of the Coast Guard 4 and of all levels;
