The Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to arrange cadres and civil servants after the arrangement of commune-level administrative units.
Accordingly, all existing district-level positions will be transferred to the commune level.
The team of district-level leaders will be the core in new grassroots units, and at the same time, provincial-level cadres can be increased to the commune level to meet the needs.
After reorganization, the scale of commune-level administrative units will increase. Therefore, the number of positions that need to be arranged will also increase compared to the present.
Currently, the total number of cadres, civil servants and public employees of Dak Lak province is 4,977 people. Of which, there are 1,281 people at the district level and 3,696 people at the commune level.
After reorganizing 180 commune-level administrative units into 68 new units. The total number of cadres and civil servants here is expected to be 4,977 people.
In the next 5 years, these units will review and evaluate the quality of cadres to gradually reduce the number of redundant cadres.
It is expected that 612 people will be assigned to leadership positions such as Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of the commune, and other positions in the political system at the commune level.
This arrangement will follow the Project on organizing the Party at the commune level under the Provincial Party Committee according to the 2-level government model.
The arrangement plan not only helps optimize resources but also improves the quality of service of local governments, towards the sustainable development of Dak Lak province.
