On the morning of August 19, in Hoa Xuan commune, Dak Lak province, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee held a launching ceremony for 3 key projects including: Hoa Tam Industrial Park Phase 1, Bai Goc Port and Phu Yen High-Tech Industrial Park.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Dien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Industry and Trade; Mr. Pham Dai Duong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, and delegates who are leaders of departments, branches, the Central Committee and localities attended.
These are key projects with a total investment of tens of thousands of billions of VND, promising to create an industrial and logistics breakthrough for the Central Highlands and South Central regions.

The investment project to build and operate the infrastructure of Hoa Tam Industrial Park, phase 1, is invested by Hoa Tam Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company (under Hoa Phat Group), with a land use scale of about 491.87 hectares, total investment capital of about 4,188 billion VND.
The project is invested in synchronous construction of infrastructure with the goal of serving the formation of Hoa Phat Iron and Steel Complex, with a capacity of 6 million tons/year. The total investment capital of the project is about 84,000 billion VND, creating jobs for more than 24,000 workers and other supporting industries.
The Bai Goc Port construction investment project is invested by Bai Goc Phu Yen Port Joint Stock Company (under Hoa Phat Group). The project has a scale of 12 ports, capable of receiving ships with a capacity of up to 220,000 DWT, with a designed capacity of 26.7 million tons/year. The total area is about 306.91ha, the total investment capital is about 16,300 billion VND.

Along with two projects of Hoa Phat Group, Dak Lak province also launched the High-Tech Industrial Park project in Hoa Hiep ward invested by N&G Group, with a scale of more than 250 hectares, total investment capital of nearly VND 2,400 billion.
These are extremely important, fundamental and highly widespread projects, while opening up many new opportunities to continue attracting large-scale projects to Nam Phu Yen Economic Zone. From there, an industrial center and large seaport will be formed in the South Central and Central Highlands regions.
Mr. Ta Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee emphasized: "Today's groundbreaking ceremony is an important milestone, affirming the determination to make Dak Lak industry break through. The projects will create jobs for tens of thousands of workers, create stable budget revenue, promote services, trade and the industrialization process. The province will accompany businesses, remove procedures, and speed up site clearance so that the project can be effectively implemented soon".

Mr. Tran Dinh Long - Chairman of Hoa Phat Group affirmed: "The unit will quickly and effectively implement the projects. After completion, Hoa Phat will contribute about VND10,000 billion to the locality each year and solve about 15,000 direct labor problems".
"We believe that with the help and support of the Government, ministries, departments, branches and especially local authorities, the project will be implemented on schedule and successfully," Mr. Long added.

Local people also expressed their excitement and expect that the series of projects will bring many job opportunities, contributing to changing the face of the economy and society.
Mr. Le Van Thanh, in Hoa Xuan commune, shared: Today, every citizen of the coastal area is very happy. We all hope that the project will be completed soon to form an industrial park, creating jobs for children working near their homes, and reducing the difficulty of traveling far away".
