On January 22, Mr. Bui Van Yen - Director of the Department of Finance of Dak Lak province informed that departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities in the province are actively paying bonuses according to Decree 73 of the Government.
According to Mr. Yen, in a few days until Lunar New Year, the units will try to make payments to ensure the rights of all beneficiaries.
"The Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee has supplemented the budget for departments, branches, and 3 districts of Ea Sup, Buon Don, and Krong Bong with a total budget of nearly 61 billion VND. The remaining 12 districts, towns, and cities have arranged their own budget to implement Decree 73," Mr. Yen added.
Ms. Le Thi Thanh Xuan - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province confirmed that the Provincial People's Committee has allocated more than 17 billion VND to pay bonuses according to Decree 73 for more than 3,700 officials of units under the department. The Department has allocated to the units and is paying bonuses to teachers.
According to research, some schools in Dak Lak province have paid bonuses to teachers. However, as of January 22, many units have not yet implemented the program and many teachers are anxiously waiting for their bonuses.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on June 30, 2024, the Government issued Decree 73/2024/ND-CP stipulating the basic salary and bonus regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces.
By early January 2025, the deadline for paying bonuses in 2024 according to Decree 73 was about to expire, but some districts in Dak Lak province had not yet finalized a plan for teachers.
The leader of the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Finance admitted that Decree 73 will take effect from July 2024, but relevant sectors and levels are slow to implement it.
This process has shortcomings from many units. When there is no bonus regulation, the department cannot disburse funds.
