Speeding towards the finish line
In mid-August, at the construction sites of inter-level boarding schools in border communes of Buon Don, Ea Rok, Ia Rve and Ia Lop, the construction atmosphere was urgent.
The sound of machinery and vehicles transporting materials harmonizes with the continuous working rhythm of engineers and workers as the time for putting new schools into use is approaching.
These are 4 projects of great significance for education in the border area of Dak Lak province. Thereby, creating better learning and living conditions for students, especially children of ethnic minorities.

According to records, Buon Don Inter-level Boarding School has completed about 98% of the construction volume; schools in Ea Rok and Ia Rve reached more than 95%; Ia Lop Inter-level Boarding School alone reached more than 90%.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dong - Director of the Dak Lak Provincial Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board (Board B) said that the unit was assigned to be the investor of 3 schools in Buon Don, Ia Rve and Ia Lop communes.
According to Mr. Dong, contractors are urgently mobilizing manpower, machinery, and materials, speeding up progress to complete the projects in August 2026, in time for the new school year.
It is expected that in mid-August, Board B will hand over the infrastructure and facilities of Buon Don Inter-level Boarding School to competent authorities for management.

Creating the best learning conditions for students in border areas
In the 2026-2027 school year, 4 inter-level boarding schools in the border region in Dak Lak, including Buon Don, Ea Rok, Ia Rve and Ia Lop, are expected to receive more than 4,700 students. Of which, about 1,200 students stay in boarding.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa - Chairman of Ia Rve Commune People's Committee said that Ia Rve Inter-level Boarding School is being urgently completed by the investor to be handed over to the locality. In the new school year, the school is assigned 77 staff positions, basically meeting the requirements of organizing teaching and not worrying about teacher shortages.
Up to now, Ia Rve commune has statistically recorded about 1,000 students registered to study at the school. However, this number may continue to change in the coming days.
According to Mr. Hoa, Ia Rve commune has an area of 217.83 km2, more than 6,700 people, mainly ethnic minorities, living in 12 villages. For students living far away, the boarding model will help reduce travel difficulties, create conditions for them to study and live stably, and limit dropouts due to economic and geographical conditions.
Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet requested investors, construction units and localities to focus maximum manpower and resources, complete the project on schedule, ensure acceptance and handover before the new school year.
The Provincial Party Secretary noted that the projects must be completed synchronously, from facilities, landscapes, green trees to amusement parks, experimental areas; and at the same time ensure quality and technical safety before putting them into use.
