On the morning of April 25, information from the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee said that in the first quarter of 2025, the whole province had 101 violations of social order, killing 3 people and injuring 29 people, with property damage estimated at about 25.17 billion VND.
Compared to the first quarter of 2024, the number of crimes has decreased by 19 cases and 33 cases compared to the fourth quarter of 2024.
The provincial police have discovered and arrested 31 economic crimes, 2 cases related to corruption and position, and 3 cases related to the environment.
In particular, the authorities discovered 50 cases with 104 subjects related to the illegal transportation, trading, storage and use of drugs.
The amount of drugs seized included 1.845 kg of heroin, 83.06g of synthetic drugs and 0.5g of dry marijuana.
Regarding traffic accidents, in the first quarter of 2025, the whole province had 45 accidents, killing 30 people and injuring 28 people, with property damage of about 8.08 billion VND.
Compared to the first quarter of 2024, the number of traffic accidents has increased by 6. Of which, 2 people died and 3 people were injured.
In the first quarter of 2025, the whole province also had 1 explosion that killed 1 person and caused property damage of about 50 million VND. The authorities are investigating the cause of the explosion.
