Yen Bai - A series of accidents occurred on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway, causing prolonged traffic congestion.

According to information from Operation Team No. 1, Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway Management Board (VECS), at about 1:45 p.m. on April 24, at Km 154+900 of Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway (through Tan Hop Commune, Van Yen District, Yen Bai Province), a series of traffic accidents occurred, causing traffic congestion on the route.

At that time, there were over 5 cars, including 2 tractor-trailers (1 car with license plate: 34E-008.XX, one car with unknown license plate); 2 passenger cars with license plate: 29H-9 18.XX, 29X-032.XX and 1 truck with license plate: 49H-012.XX, colliding while traveling in the same direction.

At the scene, the tractor trailer with license plate 34E-008.XX was damaged in the front, the 2 passenger cars had broken glass and the rear of the vehicle. Traffic through Km156 from Lao Cai to Hanoi was congested.

The consequences of the accident injured 3 people and have now been taken to the emergency room.

Upon receiving the report, the authorities promptly arrived to direct traffic and regulate traffic, and at the same time examine the scene to clarify the cause of the accident.
