On the afternoon of November 6, in the communes and wards of the Gia Lai plateau, it started to rain heavily. People in low-lying communes and wards such as Ia Hiao, Ayun Pa, Ia Pa... have made efforts to transport food and rice seeds to higher ground.
Mr. Nay Lieng, residing in Ia Hiao commune, said: "G old rice is the largest asset in a person's family, everyone is worried that the rice will be soaked in water and grow sprouts, damaged, and there will be no rice seeds to plant next year."
During the day, the authorities of the communes, civil defense, and commune police joined hands to help people in areas prone to flooding after storms move bags of rice and rice seeds to stilt houses and warehouses for people's belongings.

Some poor families were supported to bring rice, rice, and valuable items to the village's farmers' house and cultural house to protect their family's assets from storm No. 13.
The commune government recommends: In the afternoon and evening of November 6, people working in the fields and farming far from home should quickly return to a safe place, not stay in the camp overnight to avoid storms, landslides, and flash floods.
People are also advised to urgently move assets such as motorbikes, cars, pumps, rice, straw, livestock, etc. to high, safe places to avoid flooding.
