On the morning of November 6, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Gia Lai Provincial Police) deployed forces and specialized vehicles to stand guard at the foot of An Khe Pass (National Highway 19, Binh Khe Commune).
This is to be ready to respond and promptly handle situations such as landslides, traffic jams or incidents and accidents in the rain caused by storm No. 13.
The working groups are fully equipped with rescue equipment, specialized vehicles, cutting tools and lighting systems, ensuring the fastest access to the scene when required.
In addition, the Police and Rescue forces also coordinated to handle situations arising on the An Khe Pass.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee has also directed the deployment of human resources and vehicles at locations at risk of landslides to be ready to respond immediately when incidents occur, especially in the An Khe Pass area.
According to Mr. Tuan, An Khe Pass has 3 to 4 points at high risk of landslides. Therefore, it is necessary to arrange excavators, be ready to fix problems when they arise, to ensure safety and maintain traffic on National Highway 19.
Previously, on October 30, landslides occurred at many locations on the top of the pass; water from above overflowed onto the road, carrying rocks and soil, endangering people and vehicles participating in traffic.
