Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee identifies 8 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs

On the morning of September 30, the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025-2030.

This is a particularly important political event, marking a new step in development after merging the two provinces of Dak Lak (old) and Phu Yen (old) into the new Dak Lak province, opening up a large development space with new position and new stature.

Attending and directing the Congress were Politburo member, Standing member of the 14th National Party Congress Documents Subcommittee - Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, leaders of central and local departments, ministries and branches and 449 official delegates representing more than 137,200 Party members in the entire Party Committee.

Speaking at the opening of the congress, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee emphasized: "This is a congress of trust, solidarity, innovation and development".

Traces of the past term

In the past term, despite facing many difficulties from the Covid-19 pandemic, global economic fluctuations, natural disasters and non-traditional security challenges, the Provincial Party Committee, government and people have made efforts to overcome them, achieving many important results in all fields.

The mark of the past term, the economy maintained a fairly good growth rate, with an average GRDP reaching 6.24%/year; the economic structure shifted positively; the total GRDP in 5 years reached more than VND9,000 billion, up 11.8%/year.

Traffic infrastructure is gradually being completed; services, trade, tourism are developing strongly... In particular, the completion of the merger of administrative units, officially operating the 2-level government model from July 1, 2025 is considered a breakthrough in reforming the apparatus, shifting from passive management to serving the people.

However, the Congress also frankly pointed out limitations: Economic growth is not commensurate with potential; industrial, tourism and urban infrastructure are still not synchronous; the rate of poor households, especially among ethnic minorities, is still high; some areas of land management, resources, security and order are still inadequate...

Aspiration for rapid and sustainable development

The 1st Congress agreed on the theme: "Promoting the strength of solidarity, building a clean and strong Party and political system that operates effectively, efficiently and efficiently; firmly ensuring national defense and security; determined to successfully achieve the goal of building Dak Lak province to develop rapidly, sustainably, civilly and identity by 2030."

The general goal by 2030 is to effectively exploit the potential, advantages and cultural identity of ethnic groups; promote innovation of growth models based on science - technology, innovation, green economy, digital economy; link economic development with social security, environmental protection and maintaining national defense and security.

The Congress set out 18 main targets, including: GRDP increased by 10.5%/year; GRDP per capita reached 153 million VND; digital economy accounted for 30% of GRDP; by 2030, there will be no more multidimensional poor households; forest coverage rate reached over 42%; attracting 43 million tourists, revenue of more than 97,000 billion VND.

The Congress also identified 8 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs, emphasizing the development of high-quality human resources, promoting science - technology, innovation, digital transformation and mobilizing resources to build synchronous and modern infrastructure.
