Implementing the Decisions of the superior Party Committees to promptly consolidate and perfect the Party organization, ensuring comprehensive leadership over the tasks of each agency and unit, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Party Committee has announced and presented the decision to establish the Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee, including: Party Committee of the Staff Department, Party Committee of the Political Department, Party Committee of the Logistics - Technical Department, Party Committee of the Border Guard Command and Party Committee of 5 Regional Defense Command Committees.
Along with the 996 Infantry Regiment Party Committee and the 842 Infantry Regiment Party Committee, up to this point, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Party Committee has a total of 11 affiliated Party Committees.
Immediately after the announcement ceremony, the Provincial Military Party Committee held a first conference to approve working regulations; plan to deploy grassroots Party Congresses towards the Provincial Military Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; and issue a Resolution on leadership in performing military and defense tasks in the last 6 months of 2025.
The conference focused on discussing and agreeing on many important contents related to organization, operation and orientation of leadership and direction in the new situation, especially during the period when the locality is merging and perfecting the organizational apparatus.
Concluding the conference, Colonel Le Hong Viet - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command - emphasized that the current period is the period when the Provincial Military Command focuses on stably organizing after the merger, establishing regional defense command boards and receiving the Border Guard Command. Therefore, he requested the Provincial Military Party Committee to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity, uphold responsibility, closely follow the determined direction and goals to lead the provincial armed forces to successfully carry out military and defense tasks in the last 6 months of 2025.
