Nearly 55 billion VND to open the way for Phu Ho industrial cluster
Phu Ho Industrial Cluster was established under Decision No. 769/QD-UBND dated April 14, 2023 of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee, and approved for Detailed Planning at a scale of 1/500 according to Decision No. 3362/QD-UBND dated October 11, 2023 of the old Phu Tho Town People's Committee.
The Project to Invest in Construction and Business of Phu Ho Industrial Cluster Infrastructure is invested by Nam Hoang Viet Joint Stock Company, with a total estimated investment of 532 billion VND. The industrial cluster is located entirely in Phu Ho commune, former Phu Tho town (now Phong Chau ward).
Currently, Phong Chau Ward People's Committee is implementing the project: Building a traffic road to Phu Ho industrial cluster, Phu Tho town. The project is invested by Phong Chau Ward Project Management Board, with a total investment of nearly 55 billion VND.
The consortium of 2 contractors including Van Thang Construction and Mechanical Joint Stock Company and Long Vuong Co., Ltd. - won the construction package of the project (winning bid price of more than 26 billion VND) and has been constructing from May 2025 to date.
According to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, in the first days of April 2026, after nearly 1 year of construction, the contractor is deploying the work of excavating and filling the roadbed. The road is being built through agricultural land and houses of some households, connecting Phu Ho industrial cluster with National Highway 2 (at Km81+440).
According to the technical requirements in the bidding documents, the road being built has a length of 473.39m, designed according to urban road standards, roadbed width 35m, road surface width 22m, median strip width 2m, sidewalk width 5.5m on each side...
The investment objective of the project is to build a traffic route connecting Phu Ho industrial cluster with National Highway 2 and roads in the area; meeting travel, trade, and transportation needs when Phu Ho industrial cluster comes into operation. At the same time, continue to develop the transportation network and promote socio-economic development of the locality.
59 billion VND to build resettlement area for Phu Ho industrial cluster
The project to build infrastructure for resettlement areas to serve compensation and site clearance for Phu Ho industrial cluster, former Phu Tho town was previously approved by Phu Tho town People's Committee according to Decision No. 2729/QD-UBND from October 14, 2024.
The above-mentioned project belongs to group C, with a total investment of 59 billion VND, and the Phong Chau Ward Project Management Board (under the People's Committee of Phong Chau Ward) is the project investor.
According to the decision approving the contractor selection results, Gia Bao Construction Service Co., Ltd. is the enterprise that won Package No. 05: Construction and installation of the project with a price of nearly 37.2 billion VND, the implementation time of the package is 360 days (calculated from the end of 2025).
According to records, the land for infrastructure construction of the resettlement area is adjacent to the asphalt road in zone 5, old Phu Ho commune. The excavation and embankment of the resettlement area is underway, with excavators, rollers and trucks operating.
According to the technical requirements in the bidding documents, Package No. 05 for the construction of the resettlement area has an area of about 5.1ha, the items: Leveling, traffic road system; water supply and drainage; electrical system and technical works, auxiliary items... are designed synchronously.
According to a representative of the Phong Chau Ward Project Management Board, the investor will regularly urge the contractor to accelerate the project construction progress, and at the same time strengthen inspection and supervision, ensuring construction complies with designs as well as legal regulations.
