The Project to Upgrade and Expand Ban 6 - Ban 8 Viai Sieu road, Thuong Ha commune, former Bao Yen district (now Thuong Ha commune) was previously approved by Bao Yen District People's Committee according to Decision No. 1716/QD-UBND dated May 30, 2025.
This is a project belonging to Group C, with a total approved investment of 40 billion VND, the Bao Yen area construction investment project management board is assigned to be the project investor.
Recently, the investor issued Decision No. 11/QD-QLDA, approving the contractor selection results for Package No. 05: Construction + traffic assurance.
Package No. 05 is priced at over 30.7 billion VND from the provincial budget, district budget in the past and other legal capital sources.
According to the decision, the consortium of 2 contractors includes: Thanh Dat Construction and Development Investment Co., Ltd., Binh Phat Construction and Transport Co., Ltd. - winning Package No. 05 with a price of over 30 billion VND.
Thus, the above-mentioned joint venture will construct to upgrade and expand the Ban 6 - Ban 8 - Vai Sieu road with a length of 4,813km.
According to project documents, the road section has the starting point intersecting at Km135+180 National Highway 70, the ending point of the route at Km4+812. 90 intersecting with the Tan Duong - Thuong Ha inter-commune road (old) at Km4+248. 43.
The scale of the road is designed to upgrade, renovate, and expand the route according to the scale of level V mountain roads, design speed of 30 km/h; Roadbed width 6.50m; Minimum road surface width 3.50m; Sidewalk width 1.5m on each side...
In addition to constructing the foundation and road surface, Package No. 05 also builds drainage systems, protection works and traffic safety systems on the route.
The investor requires a time from commencement to contract completion of 500 days (from the date the contract takes effect).
