On August 13, the Phu Thuan Ward Provisional People's Council (PC) for the 2021-2026 term held its 3rd session (special session) to review, discuss and decide on a number of urgent contents to serve socio-economic development, the budget, assigning staff and preparing for the 2025-2026 school year.
Reporting at the meeting, Ms. Bui Thi Kim Chi - Head of the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Department said that the ward's economy continues to grow, budget revenue reaches more than 53% of the annual target, budget expenditure ensures on schedule.
In the last 6 months of the year, the Ward People's Committee set a target of disbursing over 97% of the capital plan, speeding up the progress of traffic - technical works. At the same time, mobilize social resources and mobilize people to donate land to expand alleys.
The ward promotes digital transformation, upgrades information technology infrastructure; strives for 100% of administrative procedures to meet partial online public services, 80% of the entire process. The satisfaction level of people and organizations with handling administrative procedures is targeted at 96% or more.
Regarding the preparation for the new school year, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Hue - Head of the Department of Culture and Society said that it is forecasted that the new school year will have more than 6,500 preschool and primary school students. Currently, schools have proactively proposed repairing, renovating, upgrading classrooms, toilets, electrical systems, etc.
At the meeting, the Ward People's Committee submitted to the Ward People's Council on the allocation of budget revenue and expenditure estimates for the last 6 months of 2025. The ward budget revenue estimate for the last 6 months of the year is built on the basis of balancing actual resources, ensuring correct and sufficient collection, and maximizing the exploitation of revenue sources according to regulations.
The Ward People's Council discussed and voted to approve the Resolutions on socio-economic tasks for the last 6 months of 2025; Resolution on assigning civil servant and public employee positions to arrange personnel for ward tasks; Resolution on allocating budget revenue and expenditure estimates for the last 6 months of 2025.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Chau Xuan Dai Thang - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Phu Thuan Ward People's Council affirmed that the results of the meeting are an important basis for the People's Committee and departments and branches of the ward to effectively implement the tasks for the last 6 months of the year.
Mr. Thang suggested that units quickly concretize the resolution into the action plan, strive to complete the targets, contribute to improving people's lives and the appearance of Phu Thuan ward.
