Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee has just requested to strengthen state management of the development of industrial parks (IPs) and clusters (CCNs) in the area, in order to accelerate site clearance, complete infrastructure and soon put projects into operation.
Accordingly, CCN projects must complete site clearance within 12 months from the date of establishment. For projects under 50ha, the completion deadline is before September 1, 2026; over 50ha must be completed before December 1, 2026.
For IP projects with less than 100ha (excluding key projects), completion is required in 2026. Projects with uncleared areas over 100ha must develop specific roadmaps, ensuring that at least 100ha are completed in 2026.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade, the Management Board of Industrial Parks and the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of the province to monitor and urge progress, periodically report on the 5th and 20th of each month. At the same time, review and propose to revoke slow-progressing projects that violate regulations.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment is assigned to guide and urge localities to implement compensation and site clearance work. People's Committees of communes and wards must develop specific plans, establish Site Clearance Steering Committees, clearly assign responsibilities, and ensure progress.
The Chairman of the commune-level People's Committee is directly responsible to the Provincial People's Committee for the implementation results, and periodically reports on the situation, progress and proposes solutions to remove difficulties.
