Khanh Hoa - A passenger bus traveling on National Highway 1 through Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province collided with a motorbike going in the same direction.

According to the leader of the Traffic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Province, at around 5:00 p.m. on October 29, at Km 1403+350 National Highway 1, through Xuan Dong village, Van Hung commune, Van Ninh district (Khanh Hoa), a serious traffic accident occurred, killing one person on the spot and seriously injuring another.

Previously, a 46-seat passenger car with license plate 79F - 00207 driven by Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh (born in 1972, residing in Van Gia town, Van Ninh district), traveling in the South - North direction, when arriving at the above location, collided with motorbike 79V1 - 22956, traveling in the same direction.

The strong collision caused the motorbike to be pushed a distance to the turn on the National Highway.

On the motorbike were two people, Mr. Dau Van Huong (born in 1961) and Mr. Le Dinh Nhung (born in 1957), both residing in Ngoc Linh commune, Nghi Son town, Thanh Hoa province.

The accident caused Mr. Dau Van Huong to die on the spot, while Mr. Le Dinh Nhung was seriously injured and was taken to the emergency room immediately afterwards.

It is known that Mr. Dau Van Huong and Mr. Le Dinh Nhung had just come from Thanh Hoa to attend a relative's funeral when the accident happened.

The authorities tested the alcohol level of the driver of the passenger car and the result was no violation. Currently, Van Ninh District Police are investigating and clarifying.
