Lam Dong - Discovering a large crack on the hillside, the authorities of Dam Rong 4 commune and local residents moved 40 graves to the new burial site.

On November 28, the leader of the People's Committee of Dam Rong 4 commune, Lam Dong said that the locality is coordinating with functional agencies to support people in Dung K'No 1 village to relocate 40 graves out of the hill area affected by landslides.

These graves were built by the people and buried the deceased many years ago, when the local government had not yet planned a cemetery area.

According to initial information from the leader of Dam Rong 4 commune, late on November 27, due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, the hillside in Dung K'No 1 village cracked and subsided.

To avoid the impact, the local government mobilized and supported people to move 40 graves to bury them in the cemetery planning area of Dung K'No village.

It is known that in recent days, due to prolonged heavy rain, many hillsides in Dam Rong 4 commune have experienced serious subsidence and landslides. Local authorities forced 10 households in Dung K'No 5 village to evacuate from the danger zone.
