Dien Bien invests 150 billion VND to build a 1.2km long road

Dien Bien - The province has just approved the investment policy for the project connecting National Highway 279 with the center of Chieng Sinh commune, with a total investment of 150 billion VND.

Recently, Mr. Le Thanh Do - Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee has just signed a decision approving the investment policy for the road project connecting National Highway 279 with the center of Chieng Sinh commune.

The project has a construction investment scale of about 1.2km with a total length of about 1.2km according to the scale of a level IV road, with the starting point intersecting with National Highway 279 (at Km6+770) and the end point of the route at Km2+600 Na Say - Muong Thin - Muong Mon road.

In particular, a new bridge will be built across Nam Hua stream (the starting point of the route intersects with National Highway 279 at Km6+770; the end point of the route intersects with Na Say - Muong Thin - Muong Mun road at Km1+700). The bridge is designed with prestressed reinforced concrete, 5 spans, with a total width of 13m.

The traffic route is over 1km long ( starting point at Km1+700; ending point at Km2+600 Na Say - Muong Thin - Muong Mon road). The roadbed width is from 9m to 12m, the road surface is 7m wide; the road surface structure is asphalt concrete.

This project with a total investment of 150 billion VND belongs to Group C project, using capital from national target programs, local budget balance capital and other legal capital sources.

Investment preparation time in 2025. The project implementation period is expected to not exceed 3 years, from the date of capital allocation.

The goal of the project is to connect the commune center with the administrative centers of the regions and the main road of National Highway 279, ensuring convenient traffic, meeting the needs of travel, trade of goods...

The People's Committee of Dien Bien province also assigned the Project Management and Land Fund Development Board of Area 3 to coordinate with relevant agencies and units to organize the implementation of the next work of the project to ensure compliance with the provisions of law.
