Recently, Mr. Pham Duc Toan - Permanent Vice Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee - has just signed a decision approving the investment project to build a project to upgrade the road from Sen Thuong - Pa Ma - Lo San Chai village (ta Lo San), in Sin Thau commune.
The project has a total length of about 37km, starting point at Km5+200 of the route from Sen Thuong village to Sen Thuong Border Guard Station (sen Thuong village, Sin Thau commune) and ending point connecting to the existing road (ta Lo San village, Sin Thau commune), including 2 sections.
The section from Sen Thuong village - Lo San Chai is about 23.45km long, built according to the scale of a level B rural traffic road. The roadbed is 4m wide and the road surface is 3m wide. The road surface structure is cement concrete.
Section 2 from Lo San Chai village - Ta Lo San village is about 13.54km long, built according to the scale of a level C rural traffic road. The roadbed is 3m wide, the road surface is 2.0m wide. The road surface structure is cement concrete.
In addition, the project also has items such as: building a new bridge over Pa Ma stream; vertical and cross-water drainage system; protective works...
The project belongs to group C, a level IV traffic project, with a total investment of 138 billion VND, using balanced capital from the local budget. The Provincial Traffic Project Management Board is the investor.
The project preparation time is in 2024 - 2025. The project implementation period is expected to not exceed 3 years, from the date of capital allocation.
The goal of the project is to connect the A Pa Chai - Ta Long San border patrol road with villages and residential clusters in the Vietnam - China border area, Pa Ma village, Lo San Chai village, Sin Thau commune with National Highway 4H, creating a complete traffic system, directly serving the management, ensuring border security and protecting the special-use forest of Muong Nhe Nature Reserve.
