On August 19, Dien Bien province held a groundbreaking ceremony for 3 projects with a total investment of over 1,700 billion VND. These are 3 projects among 250 key projects inaugurated and started to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The urban residential area, commercial service project of residential groups 17, 18 Him Lam (Dien Bien Phu ward) was approved by the province in principle for investment and approved the investor for the Joint Venture of MST Investment Joint Stock Company and Vina 2 Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, with a total investment of over VND 980 billion.
The project has an area of over 48,000 m2, with an expected population of about 600 people. The project is planned to be built synchronously with many important items such as: adjacent land of nearly 18,000 m2; 12-storey commercial - service works, total floor area of over 47,000 m2; social infrastructure and technical infrastructure are invested synchronously, with green squares, parking lots...
In addition, the Dien Bien Provincial Museum project invested by the Provincial Civil and Industrial Project Management Board with a total construction investment of 150 billion VND has been started.
This is a group B project, a level II civil project, with a design term of no less than 50 years, using capital from the central budget. The project implementation period and progress are in the period of 2024 - 2026. The project will be built on a land area of about 6,000m2 in Dien Bien Phu ward (next to the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum).
The scale of investment in building Dien Bien Provincial Museum includes: 3-storey Museum house; yard for organizing traditional ethnic activities; auxiliary items; auxiliary space; equipment.
In addition, the province also started the Muong Thanh A urban residential area project (Dien Bien Phu ward) invested by NQT Quang Ninh Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company. The project has a total area of 5.49 hectares, the project's investment capital is about 614 billion VND.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of the urban residential area project, commercial services of residential groups 17, 18 Him Lam (Dien Bien Phu ward), Mr. Tran Quoc Cuong - Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee suggested that the project investor and the project management, supervision and construction units need to focus on human resources, resources, urgently deploy, strictly comply with legal regulations on construction, land, environment... to ensure absolute labor safety, quality and progress.
