On January 20, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the Office of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province said that after a period of construction and repair, the Provincial Public Administration Service Center (Center) has officially started operating at the new headquarters.
Accordingly, the Center has a new headquarters at No. 867, Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Dien Bien Phu Ward (old Headquarters of the Department of Education and Training). This is a golden land, with a convenient geographical location right near the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum.
Currently, the repair and upgrade of the Center's headquarters has basically been completed, ensuring readiness to serve organizations and individuals coming to transact and submit administrative procedures.

The arrangement of facilities, equipment, technical infrastructure and information technology systems is also being implemented, ensuring the Center operates stably and smoothly.
Previously, according to Decision No. 2573 (dated November 4, 2025) of the Provincial People's Committee, 35 civil servants and public employees (18 official personnel; 17 reserves) from specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Social Insurance, Provincial Tax Department and Provincial Post Office came to work at the Center.

As Lao Dong newspaper has reported, in October 2025, the Provincial People's Committee approved an 8 billion VND project to renovate and repair the headquarters of the Provincial Public Administration Service Center.
Accordingly, this workplace is re-arranged to be used from the old Headquarters of the Department of Education and Training, built in 1996, which has deteriorated and poses a potential risk of unsafety.
The project is organized and implemented by the Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Office, with the goal of ensuring spacious and stable facilities and creating favorable conditions for people and businesses to access public services.

The project also includes the purchase of new equipment such as fire prevention and fighting, telecommunications network systems, internet and specialized furniture.
The commissioning of the Center at the new headquarters is expected to contribute to administrative reform, improve service quality, and create maximum convenience for people and businesses in the province.
According to statistics from the Dien Bien Provincial Public Administration Service Center, from July 1 to December 31, 2025, the unit received 13,797 dossiers. The number of online dossiers accounted for 12,940 dossiers. The rate of timely and early resolution reached 99.97%.
