The Ho Chi Minh Park Renovation and Upgrade Project in Lao Cai Ward is a Group C project with a total investment of about 40 billion VND for 2 phases, approved in February 2025.
The project is managed and operated by the Lao Cai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board as the investor's representative unit.
The project is implemented by Duc Tuan Construction Investment Company Limited, with a package value of nearly 25 billion VND.
The budget is taken from land use fee revenue, increased tax, fee, other revenue, savings from the provincial budget and other legal capital sources.
In mid-September, according to Lao Dong, Ho Chi Minh Park on the poetic Red River in Lao Cai Ward has almost completed the construction of major items.
Observing that at the park, there are only a few workers working on small tasks, clearing the landscape to hand over soon.
Mr. Nguyen Van Trung (Lao Cai ward) shared: "Ho Chi Minh Park has been renovated to become a favorite destination for many people every afternoon to exercise and walk. We are very excited because the new space is very airy and beautiful".
According to the Lao Cai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board, the restoration of the landscape and infrastructure of the relic site will create favorable conditions for the activities of the relic site to take place smoothly, complete the organization of urban landscape architectural space and be consistent with the general planning orientation of Lao Cai ward.
After renovation, Ho Chi Minh Park is expected to not only improve the quality of public space but also create a landscape highlight, contributing to building an increasingly civilized and modern urban appearance.
"After many months of construction, Ho Chi Minh Park has now completed the renovation and upgrading and is ready to be handed over for use as soon as possible," informed Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh - Deputy Director of the Lao Cai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board.
