In the afternoon of May 14, the Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce and award decisions on personnel work at the Party Committee of Sa Dec ward. Mr. Phan Van Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Dong Thap province - chaired the conference.
At the conference, the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee on personnel work was announced. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Van Vu Minh - Provincial Party Committee Member, Director of the Provincial Department of Home Affairs - was transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Sa Dec Ward for the term 2025 - 2030. Previously, Mr. Vu Minh had held many important positions such as Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Secretary of the Thap Muoi District Party Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Director of the Dong Thap Provincial Department of Home Affairs.
Highly appreciating the capacity and experience of Mr. Nguyen Van Vu Minh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, he requested the new Secretary of the Party Committee of Sa Dec ward to quickly catch up with the work, promote the role of the head, maintain internal solidarity, focus on leading the effective implementation of the 2-level local government model, and link the innovation of the Party's leadership methods with the requirements of modern urban development.
According to the orientation of the Provincial Party Committee, Sa Dec ward needs to continue to effectively exploit the Sa Dec Flower Village brand, promote planning, attract investment in large-scale commodity production, develop trade - services and unique tourism, and gradually become a dynamic growth nucleus of Dong Thap province.
