The consequences caused the death of Mr. Lo Van C. (born in 1982, residing in Tuan Giao commune, Dien Bien province).
It is known that the broken power pole belongs to package 3 constructed by the contractor, a consortium including: Viet Vuong Joint Stock Company and Hung An Company Limited.
This consortium is in charge of providing steel poles and constructing and installing lines from VT99 to VT149 locations. The total winning bid value is about 423.958 billion VND.
On September 9, speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Do Quang Khai, Deputy Director of the Power 1 Project Management Board, and Director of the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV Line Project Management Board, said that the investor is currently meeting with the construction unit to deploy the work to overcome the consequences and support the victim's family.
The 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project is a national key project, with a total length of 229.5km and 468 pole foundation locations.
The section through Lao Cai province is about 49.47km long, most of the locations are located on high hills, with difficult construction areas.
