A part of the common work - a common heart
Rough terrain, erratic weather, complicated construction techniques - all make the project an "unpredictable" that is not easy to solve. Hundreds of electricity engineers and workers from all over 1, 2, 3 power transmission companies... have been mobilized to the construction site in the form of "urgent hospitals".
After nearly ten days of staying, almost all of my face was burning, said Mr. Phan Tuan Chung - Deputy Team Leader of Ha Tinh Power Transmission Team, who is constructing the location of pole 342 in Chan Mong Commune (Phu Tho).
Previously, his team successfully erected column 300A - one of the most difficult locations of circuit 3 - so the experience of "standing hands" and marking each iron bar before installation was applied smoothly.
From Da Nang to the North, Mr. Vo Thien Huy - Deputy Head of the Da Nang Power Transmission Team - said that the unit sent 6 teams, each group of 24 people, to take up the task since the beginning of August.
A day starts at 5:30 am, working continuously until the sun shines. Lunch is at the construction site, while accommodation with a team must be 15-17km from the construction site. A part of the work is a common heart, although we are tired, we are very happy to feel the atmosphere of "overcoming the sun and overcoming the rain" at the construction site, Mr. Huy confided.
Key project, with profound political significance
On August 9, inspecting the construction of the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen line at the VT404 pole foundation (Thai Hoa commune, Phu Tho) and the VT369 pole foundation (Dan Chu commune, Phu Tho), Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh praised the enthusiastic, proactive and determined labor spirit of localities and forces participating in the project.
The Prime Minister noted that units should pay attention to, care for the lives, and maintain the health of workers in the current hot weather conditions. The Ministry of National Defense directed Military Region 2 to arrange military forces to deploy logistics work for construction such as setting up field fields to support workers in all weather conditions; supporting food, drinking water, pulling ropes, etc.
A day earlier, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong, together with leaders of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), Vietnam Electricity Trade Union and Vietnam Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) Trade Union, came to encourage workers constructing the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen power line through the locations of the poles in Luc Yen commune, Thac Ba commune (Lao Cai province), Quang Yen commune (Phu Tho province).
At the destinations, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong and members of the delegation acknowledged and shared the difficulties with units, officers and workers under construction.
This is a key project with profound political significance to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), which needs to be completed and energized before August 19, according to the direction of the Government... Therefore, the construction team needs to strictly follow the technical process, ensuring absolute labor safety; trade unions at all levels coordinate to continue to care for and fully care for the material, spiritual and health lives of workers - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong shared.
