On August 31, according to Hung Yen Provincial Police, Hung Yen Provincial Police received a thank-you letter from Phu Son Trading and Service Co., Ltd. thanking leaders, officers, soldiers of the Fire and Rescue Police Department - Hung Yen Provincial Police; Yen My Commune Police and collective officers and soldiers of the Fire and Rescue Team of Thang Long II Industrial Park for timely firefighting and protecting property in the tractor truck fire on the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway on August 8, 2026.
Previously, at 10:10 am on August 8, 2026, tractor-trailer BKS 29H-752. 21, pulling trailer BKS 29R-070. 39, driven by Mr. Vu Van Hai (born in 1969, native of Ninh Giang commune, Ninh Binh province), was moving in the direction of Hai Phong to Hanoi.
On the trailer, there were 6 cars (including 3 Lexus cars and 3 Toyota cars). When reaching km 29+500, through the rearview mirror, the driver detected smoke behind the car, and used the fire extinguisher on the car to put out the fire but failed.
He continued to drive the car into an empty land area belonging to Hung Yen V23 Service Station, Km24+500, Yen My commune, Hung Yen province and called to report the fire to the Fire and Rescue Police force via 114.
Immediately after receiving the news, the leaders of the Fire and Rescue Police Department (PC07) mobilized 2 fire trucks and 15 officers and soldiers of the Fire and Rescue Team of Thang Long II Industrial Park to quickly arrive at the scene.
By 10:18 am, the fire fighting force had deployed formations, coordinated with local police and people to organize firefighting. The fire was controlled at 10:23 am and completely extinguished at 10:26 am, ensuring absolute safety for people and preventing fire spread, promptly protecting 4 cars (including 2 Lexus cars and 2 Toyota cars), minimizing property damage to the company.
