During the peak tourist season, the rescue team at Cua Lo beach (Vinh city, Nghe An) is maximizing their role, contributing significantly to ensuring the safety of tourists. With a high sense of responsibility, their silent but effective work has helped to minimize drowning accidents, keeping Cua Lo's image as a safe and friendly destination.
Every day, from 4:30 am, the Cua Lo sea rescue team begins checking equipment, assigning shifts, and placing warning signs in deep, dangerous water areas. They use horns and flags to warn visitors not to swim too far from the shore or into the whirlwind. With a force of 40 men, 4 water motorbikes and 1 canoe on duty, the formation is divided into patrol teams on the shore and underwater, always ready to respond to all situations.

Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters on June 15, Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, Director of the Center for Search and Rescue and Natural Disaster Prevention of Vinh City, said that the peak summer of 2025 coincides with the time of early season storms, so rescue work is placed at a high level of warning.
On June 14 alone, due to the impact of storm No. 1, the sea will have large waves and strong currents, causing about 20 people swimming in deep water. Thanks to the close supervision and quick response of the rescue team, everyone was quickly brought safely to shore, of which only 1 person had to be hospitalized.

"Cases of accidents have appeared everywhere, but have been discovered and brought to shore safely. That is the result of maintaining continuous patrols, not taking their eyes off the sea by the rescue workers, Mr. Tran Tuan Anh shared.
The effectiveness of the rescue work is also demonstrated in raising people's awareness. Many tourists who were reminded to proactively comply with regulations, not swim far, and not gather in the whirlpools.
"I chose Cua Lo because there are rescue forces working seriously here. Seeing them patrolling by canoe every day makes me feel much more secure, said Ms. Le Thi Lan Anh, a tourist from Hanoi.
Despite their hard work in the sun and sea winds, the rescue team still stuck to the point, considering the safety of tourists as a top priority. Those silent efforts have contributed to building the Cua Lo tourism brand - a place that is not only beautiful but also safe, friendly and humane.
