Accordingly, at about 6:40 a.m. on May 7, on the commune's main road in Doai village (Tay Giang commune, Tien Hai district, Thai Binh province), a serious traffic accident occurred between an electric motorbike and a motorbike, resulting in 2 deaths.
At the above time, L.V.T (born in 2008, residing in Quan Cao village, Van Truong commune, Tien Hai district) was driving an electric motorbike with license plate 17AL-051.76 carrying L.C.T (born in 2008, residing in Van Truong commune) traveling from Doai village to Bac village, Tay Giang commune. Both students are currently high school students in Tien Hai district.
While traveling, the electric motorbike carrying two students collided with a motorbike with license plate 17H1-7965 driven by Mr. T.QT (born in 12, residing in Doai village, Tay Giang commune; former Secretary of the Party Committee of Tay Giang commune), carrying behind his wife, Ms. T.T.T (born in 1957) and T.D.P (born in 2020, living at the same address) traveling in the opposite direction.
As a result, Mr. T.Q.T died at Tien Hai District General Hospital at 6:36 a.m. the same day; Ms. T.T.T suffered head injuries and was treated at Tien Hai District General Hospital, then transferred to Thai Binh Provincial General Hospital.
However, due to severe injuries, by 11:10 am on the same day, Mrs. T had not survived and died at home. T.D.P was not injured.
Immediately after the above traffic accident occurred, the Traffic Police - Thai Binh Provincial Police quickly and urgently arrived to protect the scene, direct traffic, and regulate traffic; at the same time, transferred the case to the Investigation Police Agency for investigation and handling according to their authority.
