On the morning of July 2nd, leaders of Khanh Son Commune People's Committee, Khanh Hoa province, said that the locality had just announced the temporary closure of Hon Dung village road, the section from An Nhien Homestay area to Hon Dung Long House.
The temporary suspension of the road is to ensure safety during the construction process to handle landslide points, and at the same time overcome damage and stabilize traffic to serve people and tourists when moving through the area.
According to Khanh Son Commune People's Committee, during the construction period, people and vehicles participating in traffic are requested to proactively choose alternative routes. Vehicles passing through the area need to comply with traffic signs, barriers and instructions from traffic control forces.
The road temporary suspension time is expected to last from June 29 to October 26. However, the locality said that the road may be reopened sooner if the project is completed ahead of schedule.
Khanh Son commune authorities hope that people will sympathize and coordinate to ensure smooth construction, ensure safety and soon restore the road to serve travel needs.
Previously, during the historic flood in November 2025, the Hon Dung village road was seriously landslide, affecting the traffic of people in the area.
Urgently overcoming the landslide point will help ensure traffic safety, while creating favorable conditions for community tourism development in the locality.
