According to the program, at the session, the Provincial Election Commission will report on the results of the election of provincial People's Council deputies and the results of confirming deputy status; and at the same time, award certificates to deputies of the 11th Provincial People's Council.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council will elect positions according to the provisions of law, including: electing the Chairman, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; deciding to establish the Ethnic Minority Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council; electing Heads of Committees of the Provincial People's Council...
The Provincial People's Council will elect the Chairman, Vice Chairmen and Members of the Provincial People's Committee of the XI term; elect the People's Assessors of the Provincial People's Court and the Regional People's Court, term 2026-2031.
It is expected that at the session, opinions will be considered on important submissions of the Provincial People's Committee such as: The submission proposing to approve the Project to recognize Dong Nai province as meeting the criteria of a type I urban area; the submission on approving the policy of establishing wards based on the original status of communes: Long Thanh, Nhon Trach, Trang Bom, Xuan Loc, Dau Giay, Tan Phu, Tri An, Dong Phu, Tan Khai, Loc Ninh belonging to Dong Nai province and the submission on approving the policy of establishing Dong Nai city directly under the Central Government.
