On May 20, Dong Nai City People's Committee just sent a document to the Ministry of Construction regarding the investment in the intersection between road 770B and Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway in the form of public-private partnership (PPP).
According to the plan, the project to build the intersection between road 770B and Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway will be invested and built in the form of a double trumpet intersection at other levels in Xuan Que commune, Dong Nai city.
The project is expected to be divided into 2 component projects including: Component Project 1, compensation, support and resettlement, preliminary total investment of 12 billion VND and Component Project 2, construction of intersection with preliminary total investment (including loan interest during construction) of 692 billion VND.
Project implementation time from 2026-2028.
According to Dong Nai City People's Committee, the investment in the intersection between road 770B and Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway plays a role as a "driving axis" connecting Xuan Que - Song Nhan Industrial Park with the national transport network, regional logistics center and inter-provincial economic corridors.
In addition, this intersection plays an important role in connecting Long Thanh airport with Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway through road 769E which is being implemented by Dong Nai city, forming a new connection direction for Long Thanh airport, avoiding the concentration of all vehicles at routes T1, T2, National Highway 51, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, causing overload for roads in the southern area of Long Thanh airport.
To have a basis for Dong Nai City People's Committee to implement investment in the intersection between road 770B and Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway according to the PPP method, Dong Nai City People's Committee proposed that the Ministry of Construction consider and issue a document agreeing to assign Dong Nai City People's Committee as the competent authority to implement the project.
Road 770B project, according to the plan, will be started in June 2026, invested in new construction with a length of more than 42 km, with the starting point intersecting with road 763 and the ending point intersecting with National Highway 51, planned with a road boundary of 60 m, with 4-8 lanes. Road 770B is invested in construction connecting the eastern and northeastern districts of Dong Nai city with Long Thanh airport and Xuan Que - Song Nhan industrial parks, Bau Can - Tan Hiep industrial park, connecting the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, National Highway 51 and Cai Mep - Thi Vai seaport area (HCMC).
