On May 25, according to information from the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board, so far localities have issued 10 decisions approving detailed compensation plans for the Ring Road 4 project of Ho Chi Minh City through the area with a budget of more than 837 billion VND.
Ring Road 4 HCMC passes through Dong Nai city, HCMC and Tay Ninh province. This is a route that plays the role of a strategic traffic axis connecting the Southeast region with the Southwest region and the Central Highlands.
Ring Road 4 HCMC (total length 159km) section passing through Dong Nai city has a main route length of more than 46km, divided into 2 component projects.
In which, Component Project 1-2 on compensation, support, resettlement and construction of nearly 62km of service roads and side roads using local budget capital. This project has a total investment of more than 10,000 billion VND.
Component project 2-2, implemented in the form of public-private partnership (PPP), will invest in building the main expressway with a length of more than 46km from Chau Duc bridge to Thu Bien bridge (including Thu Bien bridge). The project has a total investment of more than 16,200 billion VND.
To implement the project, Dong Nai city will recover a land area of more than 443ha in 9 wards and communes including: Xuan Duong, Xuan Que, Dau Giay, An Vien, Binh An, Hung Thinh, Trang Bom, Binh Minh, Tan An.
Also according to the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board, for Component Projects 1-2, it is expected that the construction drawing design dossier of the project will be approved in May 2026. It is expected that this project will be started in June 2026.
For the component project 2-2, Dong Nai city is also conducting a public bidding to select investors. It is expected that this project will be started in September 2026.
