On May 25, information from Dau Giay Ward People's Committee said that the locality has issued decisions on land acquisition to implement the Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway construction investment project (phase 1) according to the PPP method.
The Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway in Dong Nai City has a route length of nearly 64km. To deploy construction, Dong Nai City must recover land for an area of about 423ha.

Compensation and site clearance for the project are implemented by 4 units.
In which, the Land Fund Development Center, Thong Nhat branch, implements compensation and site clearance for a nearly 16km section, with a total land area to be recovered of more than 98ha in 3 wards and communes including: Dau Giay, Gia Kiem, Binh Loc.
Xuan Loc Branch Land Fund Development Center implements compensation and site clearance for the 1km section with a land area of 5.2ha to be recovered in Xuan Bac commune.
The Land Fund Development Center, Dinh Quan branch, implements compensation and site clearance for the route section of more than 25km, land area to be recovered of more than 186ha in the communes of: Dinh Quan, Xuan Bac.
Project Management Board Area 11 implements compensation and site clearance for the nearly 22km section, with a land area of 132ha to be recovered in the communes and wards: Phu Hoa, Tan Phu, Phu Lam.
Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway has its starting point at Dau Giay intersection, Dau Giay ward, Dong Nai city and its ending point in Phu Lam commune, Dong Nai city.
On August 19, 2025, the Truong Hai - Son Hai transport infrastructure development consortium (Dai Quang Minh Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company - Son Hai Group Co., Ltd.) started the Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway construction investment project (phase 1) according to the PPP method.
The project is the first section of the Dau Giay - Lien Khuong expressway, belonging to the group of key national transport infrastructure projects, invested according to the PPP (public-private partnership) - BOT (build - operate - transfer) contract method with a total investment of about 8,496 billion VND.
The expected construction time is 24 months, completed on August 19, 2027.
When put into operation, the expressway will contribute to completing the road and expressway network according to the plan, creating breakthroughs in traffic connection between Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Southeast provinces and the Central Highlands; shortening transportation time, reducing load on National Highway 20, and at the same time promoting the efficiency of expressways, ring roads, ports and railways.
