At the end of November 2023, the Inter-regional Traffic Road project connecting Ho Chi Minh Road with National Highway 70B, National Highway 32C from Phu Tho province to Yen Bai province was completed and put into operation more than 50 km of the main route through Ha Hoa, Cam Khe districts and part of Tam Nong district.
Under this project, Package No. 32: Construction of a branch line connecting the main inter-regional road through Cap Dan commune, Cam Khe district to Cam Khe Industrial Park (Cam Khe district) has also selected a contractor (Transportation Construction Corporation 8 - JSC won the bid with a price of more than 96 billion VND).
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper in early December, Cam Khe district is carrying out site clearance work in the communes where more than 3 km of the inter-regional branch road is being constructed, namely Cap Dan commune (the starting point of the route at Km23+920 of the main route), Xuong Thinh commune and Cam Khe town (the end point of the route at Cam Khe Industrial Park).
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters on the morning of December 11, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Director of the Land Fund Development Center of Cam Khe district - said that the land acquisition work for the branch line of the inter-regional road project is being urgently implemented by Cam Khe district, with more than 400 households subject to land acquisition (mainly in Cap Dan commune with 415 households).
According to Mr. Tuan, up to now, 428/428 households have been inventoried, reaching 100%; compensation plans have been approved for 414/435 households, reaching 95.17%; 411/435 households have received compensation funds, reaching 94.48%; 17/17 graves have been relocated. Regarding the resettlement area, 48/48 households have been inventoried, and compensation is currently being approved and paid to households in installments.
According to the reporter's investigation, the inter-regional branch road worth more than 96 billion VND is designed with the scale of a level III plain road, roadbed width of 12 m, road width of 7 m, design speed of 80 km/h,...
