Lam Dong voters proposed that National Highway 27 has been repaired from Phu My Pass to Chuoi Pass, and there is currently about 30 km of the section from Chuoi Pass to Da Rsal Commune, Dam Rong District (old) that has not been repaired.
Voters requested that National Highway 27 be maintained and repaired soon, expanding the curves and both sides of the road surface through the old Dam Rong district to ensure safety for people participating in traffic.
Receiving the voters' petition, the Ministry of Transport (now the Ministry of Construction) has directed the settlement and issued Official Letter No. 1844/BGTVT-KCHT dated February 21, 2025 to the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province to inform voters.
The Ministry of Construction updates the results of handling voters' petitions as follows:
Up to now, the project "Repairing damaged roadbeds and surfaces; reinforcing road edges; repairing drainage systems and completing traffic safety systems for the section Km106 - Km116, National Highway 27, Lam Dong province" with a cost of VND 52.8 billion has been started by the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province on August 8, 2025, with a contract progress of 145 days and will be completed by the end of 2025.
Implementing the provisions of Decree No. 165/2024/ND-CP dated December 26, 2024 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Road Law and Article 77 of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety, after reaching agreement with the People's Committee of Lam Dong province, the Ministry of Construction has proposed and issued a decision to transfer assets of road traffic infrastructure (including National Highway 27.) from the Ministry of Construction to the People's Committee of Lam Dong province.
According to regulations, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province is responsible for organizing the implementation of management, exploitation, maintenance and investment after receiving assets for road traffic infrastructure.
Therefore, it is recommended that National Assembly deputies give their opinions to the People's Committee of Lam Dong province to study the necessity of investment and balance and arrange investment capital for the remaining sections of National Highway 27 as proposed by voters above. The Ministry of Construction will closely coordinate with the People's Committee of Lam Dong province during the implementation process.
