According to Lao Dong, in the past 24 hours, high tides have risen in many areas in Ho Chi Minh City. On some streets such as Tran Xuan Soan, Nguyen Luong Bang, Huynh Tan Phat..., high tides made it difficult for vehicles to move.

According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, in the past 24 hours, the highest peak water level of the day at most stations on the Saigon River rose rapidly and was very high above alert level III by 0.17-0.28 m.

The highest water level of the day at most stations on the Saigon River will continue to rise slowly in the next 1-2 days (November6,). The peak tide this time is likely to be higher than the early September (lunar calendar), the highest peak tide will appear on January 6-7.

At Phu An station and Nha Be station, it is 1.77-1.80 m (0.17-0.20 m above alert level III). Peak tides occurred at 4-6am and 5-7pm.

Thu Dau Mot Station is at 1.88-1.90 m (at 0.28-0.30 m above alert level III). After reaching the peak, the water level at the stations decreased slowly on November 8, then decreased faster. The peak water level above alert level I will remain until November 11.

The disaster risk level in the downstream area of the Saigon River is at level 2. This is the high tide period of the year, it is necessary to be on guard against heavy rain combined with high tides causing flooding in low-lying areas, along rivers affecting traffic and socio-economic activities in the area.
