As reported by Lao Dong, at around 4:00 p.m. on November 5, in the area of Cung Nhi Lake (Yen Bai Ward, Lao Cai Province), a fight broke out between two male students studying in class 8E at Quang Trung Secondary School.
Here, the male student wearing a blue uniform jacket used a weapon to attack the other male student; then, he tried to use force to push his friend into the lake and left.
A few minutes after being swept into the water, the victim was fortunate to be discovered by people passing by and pulled up with many wounds on his body.
On the morning of November 6, speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan said that his son was a victim in the above incident.
According to Mr. Tuan, Th suffered 4 injuries from being stabbed by a sharp object, and a bruised neck due to a tightening. After being taken to the General Hospital of Lao Cai province for emergency treatment, the child fainted due to excessive blood loss and was being treated by doctors and nurses.
"Currently, I am still busy, sometimes confused, and in a state of panic. Many times in my dream, I was startled and cried, making everyone feel sorry," said Mr. Tuan.
According to the parents, Th's academic achievements in class are relatively good. Th is also a sociable person with friends. The family has not yet found out the cause of the incident because Th is still very panicked.
"I don't understand why Th had a conflict with you. But the brutal violence of the male student is more than normal school violence," said Mr. Tuan.
According to Mr. Tuan, the family will pursue the case to the end and hope that local authorities, authorities and the education sector will intervene so that violence is no longer a nightmare for students.
"Luckily, the child was rescued and treated in time. In any of these circumstances, parents are extremely hurt to see their children suffer like that," Mr. Tuan shared.
According to Mr. Tuan, if this child is really hyperactive, the family also hopes that the school as well as the education sector will have sanctions and handling measures so as not to affect other students.
Ms. Dang Thu Ha - Principal of Quang Trung Secondary School - said that both students are in grade 8 at the school. In class, the students did not show any signs of conflict or conflict.
"The student's family used a sharp object to stab his friend and took him to the police station to report. The injured student is being treated at the hospital and his health has stabilized.
