On the afternoon of May 7, the Dak Nong People's Committee held a conference to assess the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in April and deploy directions and tasks for May 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized that there is not much left before the end of district-level activities (July 2025) and provincial mergers (September 2025).
He requested units to focus, be determined, and resolutely implement tasks, especially the disbursement of public investment capital.
According to the report, the public investment disbursement rate is currently only 11.57% out of the total VND 4,098 billion planned for 2025.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi asked: "The bauxite problem has almost been resolved, the weather is favorable. Obviously, there is no problem, so why be subjective? ".
He requested localities and investors to frankly point out difficulties and problems in the disbursement process, and at the same time requested departments, branches and sectors to promptly resolve issues under the province's authority.
"If any locality does not say it, it will not be a problem. If there are no more problems and anyone who does not complete the task will have a way to handle it," Mr. Muoi affirmed.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that units and localities must look straight at the problem, avoid the mentality of relying on others, waiting to join the province and then calculating.
He requested that the units involved in each task be specific, avoiding the waiting mentality, because if they do not do it, it will create many difficulties when merging.
