On the afternoon of November 28, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police and the Border Guard of Binh Dinh Province approached and brought the body of Nguyen Van Th (31 years old, residing in Ward 9, Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen) from the bottom of the cliff to the shore, after nearly 3 days of rescue. The body is currently showing signs of decomposition.

As Lao Dong reported, on November 25, a group of five men from Phu Yen province went to the Ky Co cliff area (Nhon Ly commune) to dig bonsai. While digging, Mr. Th unfortunately slipped and fell down the cliff, killing him.
At around 10pm on November 25, the local authorities of Nhon Ly commune received the news and mobilized forces to find a way to bring the victim up. However, the high cliffs, rough seas, and large waves made it difficult for the rescue forces to approach and rescue the victim.
The leader of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC&CNCH) of Binh Dinh Province Police said that the unit mobilized more than 30 officers and soldiers along with many rescue vehicles to the scene to bring the victims to shore.
