According to information from the People's Committee of Huong Khe commune, in the early afternoon of March 21, N.P. N (residing in hamlet 9, Huong Khe commune, a 9th grade student of Chu Van An Secondary School) and a group of friends went out to play in the Rao bridge area across the Tiem River in Huong Xuan commune.
At about 2:30 pm, N unfortunately drowned on the river. Discovering the incident, a group of friends and local people quickly organized rescue, brought the victim ashore to perform first aid. However, N died.
Upon receiving the news, representatives of local authorities and functional agencies were present to gather information, verify the cause and hand over the victim's body to the family for burial according to local customs.
