Mr. Dinh Van Huynh (representative of the supervision consulting unit) said that the Ring Road 2.5 project, Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section, is divided into 5 main bidding packages.
At this time, contractors are implementing completion work such as asphalt concrete pavement, green trees, lighting systems, electricity and water items...
From 10 PM on February 5th to the morning of February 6th, many machines and workers were mobilized to deploy the asphalt paving item on the entire route.
It is expected that by February 7, the asphalt paving item will be completed.
Mr. Dinh Van Huynh said that according to the plan, the road will be technically opened to traffic on February 10th, ensuring synchronous connection with the technical opening plan of the Ring Road 2.5 - Giai Phong intersection tunnel project, serving people to travel to welcome the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year.
No later than March 31, 2026, the project will complete all items, ensuring synchronization and meeting the conditions for handover and commissioning according to regulations.
Informing Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Hoang Mai - Hanoi Co., Ltd. (the project enterprise) said that up to this point, the site clearance of the project has basically been completed, only 1 household in Dinh Cong ward has not demolished the encroaching boundary construction.
Currently, the project enterprise is actively and proactively coordinating with Dinh Cong Ward People's Committee and this household to soon agree on a plan to return the site for the project.
The Ring Road 2.5 project, Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section, is invested in the form of a BT (build - transfer) contract with a length of 1.6km, with a total investment of about 1,317 billion VND.
The project started in 2014, was expected to be completed in 2017 but was delayed.
By 2020, the project was temporarily suspended when it had only reached about 40% of the workload. The reason was due to problems in site clearance and extension of the BT contract appendix.
At the end of May 2025, the Ring Road 2.5 construction project, Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section, was restarted after about 5 years of suspension.
