Vietnam Railways supports free transportation of relief goods

On September 11, General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR), Mr. Hoang Gia Khanh, signed a document to send to the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities; the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of provinces and centrally run cities; the Red Cross of provinces and centrally run cities on the organization of transporting relief goods for people in provinces affected by storm No. 3.

According to the leader of Vietnam Railways Corporation, due to the impact of storm No. 3 and its circulation, the northern provinces and cities are continuously suffering from a series of unprecedented natural disasters, affecting tens of millions of people.

Currently, relief work is taking place very urgently in the affected localities. Joining hands to ensure the smooth and timely transportation of relief goods, Vietnam Railways Corporation supports the free transportation of relief goods to the people in the provinces affected by storm No. 3.

In particular, the transport objects are relief goods for people in provinces affected by storm No. 3 from organizations and individuals through the People's Committee, Fatherland Front, Red Cross Association of provinces and centrally-run cities.

The units that collect and send goods at 8 stations include:

1 Nguyen Thong, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
- Song Than Station - An Binh Ward, Di An City, Binh Duong Province.
- Nha Trang Station - No.
17 Thai Nguyen Street, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa.

- Da Nang Station - No.
791 Hai Phong Street, Da Nang City. - Hue Station - No. 2 Bui Thi Xuan, Hue City. - Dong Hoi Station - Sub-area 4, Nam Ly Ward, Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh. - Vinh Station - No. 1 Le Ninh Street, Vinh City, Nghe An. - Thanh Hoa Station - No. 19 Duong Dinh Nghe Street, Thanh Hoa City.

The receiving place is Giap Bat Station (address: 366 Giai Phong Street, Hanoi); Hanoi Station (1 Tran Quy Cap Street, Hanoi). The time to receive the transported goods is from September 11, until further notice.
