With the theme "Smart City - Digital Economy - Sustainable Development", "Vietnam - Asia Smart City Conference 2024" will take place on December 2 and 3, 2024 in Hanoi.
The conference, organized by the Hanoi Department of Information and Communications in coordination with the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA), is expected to attract about 2,000 delegates, representatives of state agencies, international guests, associations, and domestic and foreign enterprises.
According to Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Director of Hanoi Department of Information and Communications, "Vietnam - Asia Smart City Conference 2024" is an event in response to the National Digital Transformation Day 2024 of Hanoi City. To promote digital transformation, build and develop the Capital in a smart, modern and sustainable direction.
This is an opportunity to share experiences, cooperate, build and develop smart cities between provinces and cities of Vietnam and provinces, cities and organizations in the Asian region; introduce digital technology products and services serving the construction and development of smart cities; promote the development of the semiconductor industry, artificial intelligence...
At the Conference, the Ministry of Construction will introduce the smart city criteria and VINASA will award smart city awards to units, organizations and businesses.
The conference will have thematic discussion sessions, technology solution demonstrations, exhibitions of excellent urban smart projects and platforms, cooperation connections, etc. Focusing on issues such as flexible management and operation based on data; solutions, digital infrastructure, platforms to promote digital economy and sustainable development; semiconductor industry; smart homes for health and convenience; green and smart mobility for smart cities and sustainable development, etc.
The exhibition has about 30 booths displaying solutions, meeting partners, and connecting businesses.
