Nearly 30,000 people in Son La respond to the program "Joining Vietnam to Advance

Son La - Nearly 30,000 people simultaneously participate in the "Joining Vietnam to Advance" walking program, spreading the spirit of green living and health training.

On August 30, at Tay Bac Square, To Hieu ward, Son La Provincial People's Committee organized the walking activity "Joining Vietnam to Advance" 2026 with the theme "10 billion green steps, for a sustainable Vietnam".

The program attracted nearly 5,000 delegates, officers, soldiers of the armed forces, civil servants, public employees, students, and people to participate. At the same time, 100% of communes and wards in the province simultaneously responded, attracting nearly 25,000 people.

Delegates and people performed flag salute ceremonies, listened to the emulation launch and simultaneously participated in walking in response to the program.

Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Ha - Secretary of the Party Committee of Muong Coi commune said that the program creates a solidarity and excitement atmosphere, and at the same time contributes to raising awareness of health training and environmental protection among officials, party members and local people.

Mr. Nguyen Van Chung, To Hieu ward, shared: "Participating in the program, I see this as a meaningful activity, both training health and contributing to spreading a green lifestyle and community solidarity.
