Accordingly, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province has approved the investment policy for the Tien River bank landslide treatment project in the Tan Long ferry terminal area (Tan Phu Dong commune, Dong Thap province) invested by the Management Board of the Investment Project for Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Works of Dong Thap province. The investment goal of this project is to build a project to handle landslides on the Tien River bank in the Tan Long ferry terminal area (Tan Phu Dong commune, Dong Thap province) to prevent and combat riverbank landslides, ensure the safety of households, protect infrastructure and agricultural land, contribute to reducing damage caused by natural disasters, adapting to climate change, ensuring national defense security, environmental landscape along the river and creating conditions to promote local socio-economic development.
This project is built in Tan Phu Dong commune (Dong Thap province) with a route length of about 1,036m, with a total investment of more than 196.9 billion VND, from the central budget and the provincial budget. The project implementation location is in Tan Phu Dong commune, the implementation time and progress are 4 years.
In An Huu commune, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province has decided to approve the investment policy for the project to handle landslides along the Tien River, invested by the Management Board of the Investment and Construction Project of Agricultural and Rural Development of Dong Thap province. This project is located in An Huu commune (Dong Thap province) from the old My Thuan ferry terminal location, facing upstream with a length of about 1,100m, with a total investment of 252 billion VND, from the central budget and the provincial budget. The project implementation location is in An Huu commune (Dong Thap province), the implementation period and progress are 4 years.
