On October 22, at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Chi Minh commune, the Commune Land Clearance Council (GPMB) organized a payment ceremony for compensation, support and resettlement for 17 households and individuals whose land was recovered to serve the project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 391 - the section passing through Chi Minh commune.
The total paid budget is nearly 9 billion VND, according to Decision No. 6774/QD-UBND dated September 23, 2025 of the People's Committee of Chi Minh commune, including compensation, support and resettlement. Of which, 16 households have residential land and 1 household has agricultural land.
The payment session was made publicly and transparently with the participation of representatives of the Land Acquisition Council, the Tu Ky Construction Investment Project Management Board, leaders of the Commune People's Committee, the Economic Department and village heads. The working content includes publicizing the decision to reclaim land, posting compensation plans and paying directly to households in accordance with legal regulations.
Timely and transparent payment is an important basis to ensure the construction progress of Provincial Road 391 - a key traffic project in the area, while demonstrating the responsibility of the government in protecting the legitimate and legal rights of people whose land is recovered.
