Quang Binh province has just approved a budget of 40 billion VND from the state budget to build a new Song Thai bridge in Quang Trach district. The project is expected to start construction of geological surveys, design consultations and bidding in early March, and be completed in 2025.
The project is invested by the Department of Transport (now the Department of Construction) of Quang Binh province, with capital drawn from the provincial budget reserve, to serve the task of natural disaster prevention, national security and defense and other tasks. The People's Committee of Quang Binh province requires ensuring construction progress and quality, contributing to improving traffic in the area.
According to Mr. Hoang Dang Cuong - Director of the Department of Construction of Quang Binh province, the new Song Thai bridge will be designed according to modern standards, meeting higher loads, ensuring safety and traffic.



The Department is urgently completing investment procedures to build a new bridge to ensure safe and convenient traffic for people.
The construction of the new Song Thai bridge will contribute to improving traffic infrastructure in Quang Trach district, helping people travel more conveniently and ensuring safety during the rainy and stormy season.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, the current Song Thai bridge (in Quang Kim commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province) is seriously degraded, causing people to worry when traveling back and forth.
Song Thai Bridge is located at Km3+010, Road 558B in Quang Kim Commune. The bridge is over 100m long, with a structure of 6 spans, each span is arranged with 3 reinforced concrete beams, built in 1996.
The new Song Thai Bridge will make it easier for vehicles to travel here, promoting economic and social development through this area.
