On September 30, Gia Lai province held the inauguration ceremony of the Dien Bien Phu Road project extending to Diem Van Urban Area.

The project has a total investment of 519 billion VND, with a length of 1.59km, passing through Quy Nhon Dong ward and Tuy Phuoc commune. The route is designed according to urban standards, speed 50km/h, roadbed is 20.5m wide, including 4 lanes, lighting system and trees along the route, with 2 large bridges, Nhon Binh and Cho Goc.
This is one of the important sections of the Coastal Road (DT639) through Gia Lai province, starting at the new National Highway 19 and ending at Km1+592 intersecting with the belt in Diem Van Urban Area.

The entire coastal route (DT639) is about 121km long, starting at the coastal road of Quang Ngai province and ending at Dak Lak province. Currently, the project is divided into 7 sections, of which 3 sections have been completed, including: from Lai Giang bridge to Thien Chanh bridge, from Cat Tien to My Thanh and Dien Bien Phu road extended to Diem Van Urban Area; the remaining 4 sections are being invested in.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh - Permanent Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee - emphasized that the project put into operation will create an important traffic axis, serving socio-economic development, facilitating the circulation of goods and tourists from Quy Nhon center to Diem Van Urban and Eco-tourism Area.

"This is a meaningful gift to welcome the 1st Provincial Party Congress and towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, demonstrating the province's determination in the new development stage," Mr. Thanh affirmed.
On the same day, in De Gi commune, Gia Lai province, the inauguration ceremony of the DT633 bypass road project was also held, from Nui Ghenh to the intersection with the DT639 coastal road. The project has a total investment of 336 billion VND, 3.53km long, designed according to the standards of a grade III road, a speed of 80km/h, a roadbed of 20.5m wide, including 2 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for mixed vehicles.

The DT633 bypass route strengthens the East-West connection, connecting with DT63 and DT639 routes, meeting the needs of travel and goods transportation, while opening up space for urban development, services and tourism, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development.
Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang - Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee - emphasized that this is a strategic transport route, prioritized for investment in the period of 2021-2025. The project comes into operation, marking the completion of the modern transport project, a vivid symbol of the province's construction and development achievements.

This is a meaningful gift to welcome the 1st Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term and towards the 14th National Party Congress.
Mr. Hoang requested the investor and the management unit to perform well the work of warranty, maintenance, ensuring traffic safety and the life of the project.
