On August 23, the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Finance issued a notice inviting bids for the renewable energy human resource training and development center project. Investors submit registration documents online.
The project has a scale of more than 23 hectares in Phu My Dong commune, with a preliminary implementation cost of about 2,300 billion VND. The implementation period is 66 months from the effective date of the project contract or when the investor is officially recognized.
The center was invested in construction with the goal of training technicians, experts, lecturers to serve the renewable energy industry; research, development and application of green technology solutions; extracting hydrogen gas, green oxygen from wind and solar energy...
According to the People's Committee of Gia Lai province, the project aims to train technicians, experts, and lecturers for the renewable energy industry; cooperate in transferring green technology, contributing to the development of renewable energy and achieving the goal of carbon neutrality. This is an orientation in line with the approved solution for developing high-quality human resources according to the National Power Development Plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
The Center for Training and Development of renewable Energy Human Resources was approved by the People's Committee of the old Binh Dinh Province (now Gia Lai Province) for investment at the end of June 2025; approved the bidding plan on August 19.
Previously, on June 18, the old Binh Dinh province signed a memorandum of understanding on investment cooperation with GEO Group (Germany) and O-DOOR Vietnam Co., Ltd. Then, on July 14, Quy Nhon University and these partners signed a cooperation agreement on the construction and operation of the center.
Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan affirmed that this is a key project of the province. Currently, the locality is urgently organizing bidding to select investors, expected to be completed in August 2025.
